Connect 99takes to Claude
99takes tests ad and website copy against personas from your audience, right inside Claude. To set it up, create an account at run.99takes.com. Then add 99takes as a connector in claude.ai (you only do this once), or run a single command in Claude Code. One sentence tells you whether it’s connected; after that, you just ask in the chat.
Where do you use Claude?

This command opens the sign-in page in your browser the first time you use it:
claude mcp add --transport http 99takes https://api.99takes.com/functions/v1/mcp - 4
Test it
Type /mcp: 99takes should show as connected. Then ask:
Are you connected to 99takes? How many credits do I have?
If it doesn’t work
Claude answers without using 99takes
In claude.ai, you can turn connectors on and off for each chat: click “+” at the bottom left of the chat, then “Connectors”. Make sure 99takes is on, and add “with 99takes” to your message.
You’re on a Team or Enterprise plan
An Owner adds the connector under Organization settings → Connectors. Then you open Customize → Connectors and click “Connect”.
Sign-in stops halfway through
Reconnect in Claude: go to Customize → Connectors and select 99takes.
Claude asks permission for every tool
That’s the default in claude.ai. Set both groups to “Always allow” as in step 4. Claude still tells you the price before anything costs credits.
You’re out of credits
Buy more credits or choose a plan in your account. No new run starts without credits, and nothing is charged after the fact.

Which Claude plans work with 99takes?
In claude.ai and the desktop app, you add 99takes as a custom connector. According to Anthropic, that works on the Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans; the Free plan allows one custom connector. In Claude Code, a single terminal command is all it takes.
Do I need an API key?
Not in claude.ai: you sign in to 99takes and allow access. Claude Code works without a key too; the sign-in page opens in your browser the first time you use it. If you’d rather use a key, create one in your account and add it to the command.
What does it cost?
New accounts start with 350 credits, valid for 30 days, no payment details needed. 99takes tells you the price in credits before every run and only charges once you say yes. After that, there are plans from €58.31 a month (incl. VAT) or credit packs with no subscription.
How do I disconnect 99takes from Claude?
In claude.ai, go to Customize → Connectors, open 99takes, click “⋮” and choose “Remove”. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner does this under Organization settings → Connectors. Your account at run.99takes.com isn’t affected.
