HOW IT WORKS

How 99takes works: from draft to tested version

99takes tests ad and website copy before it goes live. You create an account, connect 99takes to Claude and pick an audience. Then personas from that audience read your copy or your page and tell you what makes them hesitate and which version they prefer.

THE PROCESS

How It Works

1

Create an account, pick an audience

Sign up at run.99takes.com and get 350 credits, valid for 30 days, with no payment details needed. Then add 99takes as a connector in claude.ai or run a single command in Claude Code. The steps are on the setup page. To run a test, you need an audience: a ready-made one for your market, or your own, researched together with you for a one-time 15 credits.

2

Personas from your audience read your copy

In your conversation with Claude, you give it your landing page or paste two versions of your copy. The personas read it the way your audience would, from a B2B buying committee to consumers comparing two offers. A run includes the whole audience, typically 10 to 14 personas, and each one also reads with the other personas’ jobs in mind.

In your conversation with Claude
3

You get a score and the reasons behind it

You see which persona gets stuck on which argument, and why. Comparing two versions with 12 personas costs about 73 credits, or about 19 for 1:1, where each persona reads with only its own job in mind. 99takes tells you the price before every run, and all prices are on the pricing page.

WHO WHY WHAT

Audiences are backed by public customer voices where they exist, and they stay fixed, so you can compare one run with another. The jury runs on Claude; 99takes has no language model of its own. Next, 99takes can write a new version based on the objections. You see it before it's tested against the old one (challenger versions). The same works for an entire landing page: 99takes writes a challenger and shows it to you before it's tested against your current page. After launch, you report which version won in the market, and that goes into the hit rate per jury.

A score and a reason from every persona

Score

per persona and version

Every persona scores each version, and the verdict goes with the people your offer is actually for.

Objections

where they get stuck

In the persona’s own words, along with the source behind the objection, where there is one.

Taken or unclaimed

core claims against competitors

Which of your claims your competitors also make, with a verbatim quote and the source.

Report

with its own link on request

The results, ready to share with your team or client. You can revoke the link at any time.

The result:

No generic tips like "The headline could be better."

Instead: "The CFO looks for an ROI calculation, doesn't find one and leaves. Recommendation: put the ROI calculator above the fold."

What people want to know first

For more on what you can ask, see the buyer simulation and the example questions.

What is 99takes?

A tool that tests ad and website copy on personas from your audience before it goes live. You use it inside Claude (claude.ai or Claude Code) and pay with credits. The jury runs on Claude; 99takes has no language model of its own.

Do I need code or tracking on my site?

No. 99takes reads your page from its URL, the way a visitor sees it. You don't add a code snippet or tracking to your site. Drafts that aren't online yet can be shared as text, HTML or images.

Where does the audience come from?

Either you pick a ready-made audience for your market, or 99takes researches your own with you in Claude: 10 to 14 personas covering a wide range, backed by real customer voices where they exist. Setting it up costs a one-time 15 credits, and every run after that uses it.

How reliable is the simulation?

It doesn't measure the market, and it doesn't replace an A/B test with real traffic; it comes before one. The hit rate per jury shows how often the jury was right. It's only published once there are ten conclusive results, and always with the number of results and a range.

What does it cost?
