Buyer simulation: test copy and pages before they go live.

In a buyer simulation, personas from your audience read your copy or page before real buyers see it. 99takes runs it right in your Claude chat: each persona gives a score and its main objection. The verdict is decided by the people your offer is built for.

Start free A comparison with 12 personas costs about 73 credits (each persona also reads with the other personas’ jobs in mind); 1:1 costs about 19 credits. 350 credits to start, valid for 30 days, no payment details needed.

What you can ask

Six ways to test.

Compare two versions

about 73 credits

Each persona gives a score and an objection, and your core audience decides the verdict. Works for headlines, ads, page sections and subject lines.

“Which headline wins over our buyers, A or B?”

Test a new version of a page

price shown before the run

99takes reads the page from its URL, writes a challenger version based on your audience research and shows it to you before testing your current page against it. You can test just the opening or the whole page. This comes before an A/B test with real traffic; it doesn’t replace one.

“Test our landing page against a new version.”

Analyze a landing page

price shown before the run

Copy, structure and reading flow, how the page comes across on desktop and mobile, design craft and, if you have competitors, how you compare. You end up with a plan of what to fix first. More on this: landing page analysis.

“Analyze our landing page https://[your-page].”

See how a page comes across

up to 12 credits, plus 2 to 3 for redesign suggestions

The personas look at your page on desktop and mobile: their first impression, whether it looks like it was made for people like them, how trustworthy it seems and whether they find what they’re looking for. Includes screenshots, so you can see which page was checked, plus redesign suggestions.

“Run a design check for https://[your-page].”

Shortlist drafts

3 to 5 credits

If you have five drafts, they don’t all need a full run. A smaller jury picks out the one worth running. It’s a shortlist, not a measurement.

“Which of these five headlines should go into the full run?”

Compare several pages

price shown before the run

Test several pages against one audience, such as product or course pages built from the same template. You get a single comparison table across all of them.

“Which of our product pages is the weakest?”
What the jury reads

It reads the copy where it sits on the page. Design has its own check.

Given a URL, it reads the page the way visitors see it in their browser, from the headline down to the fine print.

The jury judgesThe jury does not judge
Headline, body copy and fine print, where they sit on the pageColors, images, typography: in an A/B test, both versions look the same. How the page comes across is covered by the design check
Whether copy wins only with the extended audience: then you get a warning, not a winYour market data: if you have enough traffic for clean A/B tests, that’s the better source

FAQ

Questions about buyer simulation

What does a buyer simulation cost?

It’s billed in credits. Comparing two versions with 12 personas costs about 73 credits; the same comparison 1:1 costs about 19 credits. 99takes tells you the price before every run. New accounts start with 350 credits, valid for 30 days, no payment details needed.

Does it replace an A/B test?

No. An A/B test with real traffic measures what visitors do. The simulation comes first: it shows which version is worth testing and surfaces objections a conversion rate can’t explain. It also gives pages with too little traffic for a clean A/B test a verdict before launch.

How reliable is the verdict?

It’s a prediction. The hit rate tracks whether it holds up: after launch, you report which version won in the market. 99takes publishes a rate per jury only once there are ten decidable results, always with the count and a range.

What do I need to get started?

An account on run.99takes.com and Claude (claude.ai or Claude Code) with 99takes added as a connector. You also need an audience: your own, researched with 99takes, or one of the ready-made audiences.
